As many of you may know by now, I am living in Las Vegas for the time being. (Which is until I go back up to the lovely Rexburg in September). Most would expect me to be up in Idaho where I attend to school and just be doing what other, typical 19 year old girls do. It was hard at first, but I have come to terms with the fact that I am not your typical girl. I am loving life, even if it is far from what one considers normal. It has it's up and downs-- but its good, really good.
The past few days I have realized a few things. The first was this evening at The Davis' home when little Jimmy walked out of the bathroom, brushing his teeth and doing a dance (which involved a lot of bum shaking). I just couldn't help staring at him and thinking, oh to be young again. But who says I can't shake my bum and dance when I brush my teeth? That's right, no one. So beware my fellow Wixom sisters + Sophie, for there will be a lot more bum shaking in the bathroom. (Even though Micah might object and say I already do my fair share).
My second realization was that everyone needs to have a good song to walk their beat to everyday. Life is just boring if you don't have a little spring in your step- and a song always seems to do that for me. I have always had a little crush on DMB growing up, and even more so with this song. I recently attended my friend Olivia & Justin's wedding and fell in love with this song, yet again. So here you go: My song obsession that is just making my week go with a little more umph.
