White Coat Weekend

This past week Robert started Medical School at UNR! Well, orientation began this past week but today was technically his first day of class. At the end of orientation week was the White Coat ceremony. It's this fancy ceremony that symbolizes the students dedication to medicine and the start of their journey to becoming a physician and pretty much the start to their new life. 

My mom was here helping me with Calvin, and my dad flew up a few hours before the ceremony. My sister and brother in law also decided to surprise Robert, so they made the long desolate drive up to Reno from Vegas!

On Saturday we headed over to Lake Tahoe since Collette and Justin had never been. My mom somehow sweet talked us into a private residential beach at Incline Village. We spent the afternoon hanging out at the beach and watching Darwin go crazy in the water. It was a perfect weekend!

 Also, my son is crazy strong. (I like to attribute it to my olympic weight lifting while I was pregnant). He started holding up his head and having almost full control of his neck at 2 days old!
