Listen to this:
Buddhists have "the right" ideals that they live by every day.
The Right
1. Views
2. Intetions
3. Speech
4. Actions
5. Livelihood
6. Effort
7. Mindfulness
8. Concentration
The second part of Buddhism I am trying to embrace is the following:
Referring to an instrument: a tight string can be plucked, but it would brake; therefore being of no use. On the other hand a loose string is of no use because it can not be plucked.
Lastly, I love meditation and Yoga. At the seminar the director showed us this mindfulness website that was an introduction and a beginners guide to meditation and mindfulness.
I love learning about all the cool ideologies that different religions. They all have a different way to embrace good Christian living, and there is no harm in that.
In honor of my new found fascination for Buddhism I made Thai Coconut Curry Noodles for dinner. {okay, I also made it because we got everything for it in our Bountiful Baskets and I was already planning on making it}
And I have also been listening to good ol' Mason Jennings
Oh, how I have holy envy for some things Buddhist.
Happy Tuesday!
